We're seeking candidates for an intermediate software developer position. A successful candidate will have experience developing web based applications, and will be focused being a team player and writing great code. We want energetic, outgoing, driven developers who want to get things done. The kind of developers who enjoy showing off, who take pride in their own skills, and who love learning (even on their own time) for learning's sake.
Candidates should have:
- Experience developing web apps using interpreted languages like PHP (or Perl, Ruby, Python, etc)
- Knowledge about 'state of the art' of tools and practices
- A working knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Interest in Javascript, AJAX, DHTML, user-interface design, and 'web 2.0' technology
- Some knowledge of web application frameworks, architecture, MVC, etc.
- Some knowledge of unit testing, refactoring, continuous integration and best practices
- Passion for agile methods, teamwork, and doing things the right way
