We're seeking candidates for a senior software developer. A successful candidate will have extensive experience developing web based applications, particularly multi-tiered, mission critical web systems. This candidate will also be a thought leader and a passionate advocate for best practices. Strong experience with LAMP technology and design/architecture is a must. We want smart, confident, outgoing senior developers who not only have the skills to do the "heavy lifting", but who know the importance of software scalability, maintainability and quality.

Candidates should have:

• Over 5 years experience developing web applications (preferably expert at building enterprise PHP software)
• Extensive experience with object oriented design theory, web application frameworks, architecture, MVC, design patterns, etc.
• Expert knowledge of unit testing, acceptance testing, refactoring, and best practices
• Excellent knowledge of relational databases, database theory, and data models
• Knowledge about 'state of the art' of tools and practices
• History building scalable, maintainable, quality code (and the ability to help junior developers do so)
• Enthusiasm for mentoring other developers and bringing up the level of our team
• Initiative to take on responsibility without being asked
• Passion for agile methods, teamwork, leadership, and doing things the right way
